Dante stood against a wood pillar a few feet from the table. His ears were perked and he had his ever steady hand on the hilt of his blade. His hat casted a shadow that hid his eyes but he could see all around him. He stood and waited.

Pinto looked at Tatania and gave a smile.
" Hey now my dear, no woman is worth that, I have a pretty good gig anyhow. I work with cannons. You can come upstairs and see my own personal cannon if you want?" He said and licked his lips with a smile.

Captain Lee gave a small smile. "Fancy eh?" She looked around the place. "Not very fancy around here." She took a drink of her ale. "So what was the reason you sat down at my table?"

She rolled her eyes at Pinto.
"I'll let you know if I lower my price."
She then looked at Captain Lee.
"I'm in the market for some sailors, as it were. I didn't recognize you as a captain."

Pinto leaned over towards Captain Lee and gave a smirk.
" Looking for em sailors she is now, haps she might want to think about goin down to Port Royal, get som sofisc ated folk aye," Pinto said and laughed, showing two of his gold teeth.

She smiled condescendingly at Pinto and then looked back at Captain Lee.
"Do you have any suggestions? You seem to always have good luck with your sailors."

"Aye I do. Its something 'bout the sea, ye can sense when someone has the..well qualities of a good sailor. But Tortuga is not a bad place to look. Make sure you are picky." She drank some of her ale. "Don't want some lunitic aboard." She smirked.

Tatiana wondered about this mysterious statement for a moment and followed Capt. Lee's gaze around the room. She didn't know what to say, so she didn't say anything.

Lee could sense that Tatiana didn't understand exactly what she meant. She looked back at her. She pulled up her own sleeve and it showed a deep scar on the side of her arm. "I wouldn't have this if I had not picked anyone or everyone willing to sail under a pirate flag." She said as she pulled down her sleeve and moved her hand to the collar of her shirt and coat and pulled it down a little and she could then see a scar running across the side of her neck. "See what I mean?"

She nodded slowly. Those scars were deep and would be a painful reminder of bad decisions.
"Perhaps I will be able to learn from your mistakes and choose better for myself."

"You will be the first if you learn somethin' from me." She said knowing that it took most people to do it themselves before they learned. She moved her collar back over the scar. It was amazing that she could remember where she had gotten everyone.
